Erotic Liberation
This is our February 2026 Love in Adulthood Monthly Workshop.
What does erotic liberation mean?
- Being your most erotic self means getting yourself FREE — free from performance, unbound from shame, distanced from your inherited stories.
- Liberation is multi-faceted, and while it starts within, it impacts those closest to us and the collective.
- Duty, obligation, stereotypes, and lack of education shuts down authentic turn-on and keeps us distant from our true desires.

Being a sex educator in a time of awful collective sexual violence is tragic. I want to save all the girls and incarcerate all the men that caused such irreparable harm — while holding the knowledge of the sexual shadow that allows for such violence, and knowing the power of how sex can be so healing in a completely different capacity.
The Epstein files are dominating our news feeds... in a slow, awful trickle that continues to torture our hearts. And whether you're deeply invested or just glancing, surely some soft part of you feels the vast, dark territory of our collective sexual shadow. This is what happens when sexuality is weaponized by abusive, greedy, disgusting men. It's those men tell us what's sexy, who is deemed beautiful (and thus worthy), who hold the keys to our vast consumer empire, create guidelines for our (implicit and explicit) sexual education systems, and cosplay as 'leaders' in their respective spaces. 🤢🤬🖕🏻
I'm holding so much grief and love for the girls and women that were so harmed, and so much rage at the (men and women) that perpetrated or made space for this violence. I see this moment as singularly awful, and as a feminist scholar, I can also see how it's woven into the tapestry of religious heteropatriarchy and our political system as a whole.
The Collective Sexual Shadow
I had scheduled this workshop months ago, but it's a very interesting moment to teach it—maybe more relevant than ever. This workshop isn't to process what's happening, but to explore a quiet yet fully revolutionary response to it. Erotic liberation gives you a window into who you are under the performance, the people-pleasing, the shame, the 'shoulds.'
Every time one of us gets more honest about what we actually want, what we've been tolerating, and what we deserve, we're co-creating a different kind of sexual culture. Setting ourselves free a little bit more... and showing others there is a path to healing with and within our sexuality.
Each act detailed in the Epstein files was heinous. And taken collectively, it speaks to both individual and collective sexual shadow — that is, what we don't know about ourselves can often create harm.
As Carl Jung famously said: "Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." We can shift this to be more relevant to the current Epstein horror: until you make the unconscious conscious, you will allow your shame and sexual desires to turn you into a fucking monster.
But you, dear reader, are surely a gentle loving person that simply wants to be a better lover... maybe you want to be a little bit more sexual or kinky or playful or open...
And you, surely, want to understand and learn to love these unique aspects of your sexuality so that you can fully embrace them, share them lovingly, and start to understand it in others, too.
So even though there's so much horror out there, together we've created a soft little space to land for a few hours.
